Biographical / historical:

Captain Charles H. Litz received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and his Master of Science from the National War College. From June 1976 to July 2002 he served a carrier helicopter pilot flying the SH-3H. Litz participated in Desert Storm as part of Airwing on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).
