Biographical / historical:

Allen E. Clark enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1942 and served during World War II in the Pacific Theater on Bougainville, Guam, and Iwo Jima. He was a member of B Company, 1st Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division.
