This series primarily consists of materials relating to Joyce Roy's private teaching practices in furniture design and making, including lecture handouts, notes, course descriptions, publicity materials, and other printed materials on similar courses collected by Joyce Roy.

The collection is open for research except for Box 1, Folder 2-2, which contains education information about Shanthi Leah Roy, deceased daughter of Joyce Roy. The materials in this folder, including her student ID and course history, may be restricted until 2032. Contact Special Collections and University Archives for additional information.

Permission to publish material from the Joyce Roy Architectural Collection must be obtained from Special Collections and University Archives, Virginia Tech.
