Background

Scope and content:

The Maria Aubock Architectural Collection contains biographical information, curriculum vitae, color printouts/photocopies, black and white copies, publications, articles, sketches and descriptions of several of her designs in a ring bound volume, original drawings for the Mozart Pavilion, Vienna, 2005 exhibition catalog for Gradual Landscapes, fliers from the 2006 conference titled GROW!, 1 magazine volume that contains a short article by Aubock, and a 2005 competition catalog with an introduction by Aubock.

Biographical / historical:

Maria Aubock was born in 1951 and is a landscape architect in Vienna, Austria. Since 1985 she has been a member of the Austrian Society of Landscape Architects. In 1999, she was appointed professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany and has been involved with Akademiestrasse 2 and D-80799 Munich. Her office is located in Vienna.

Acquisition information:
The Maria Aubock Architectural Collection was donated to Special Collections beginning in 1996. The collection was obtained in multiple accessions.
