Ledger A recorded the accounts of individual customers. Each account lists transactions in chronological order. Information found in each entry includes date of transaction, merchandise purchased or services rendered, quantity purchased, and amount owed and amount paid. Information in Ledger A and account book correspond with information found in daybook. Both volumes include an index that lists customers in alphabetical order.
