Scope and content:

Black and white photographic negative, portrait of a woman and a man. The woman and man are posed sitting on a chair with the man's arm draped around the woman's shoulders. The woman is wearing a light-colored cardigan, a houndstooth skirt, earrings, a beaded necklace, and two rings. The man is wearing a light-colored crew neck sweater over a light-colored collared shirt and tie. He is wearing a light-colored hat and holding a ten dollar bill. Original envelope housing the negative was labeled "Lanta Brown." An additional handwritten note on the envelope reads, "Mackenzie Hall, Ft Belvoir Va., Number 20." Photograph is undated, c. 1940s
