Black and white group photograph of the Amherst College baseball team in 1898. Thirteen men are posed seated, arranged in three rows. Most of them are wearing Amherst College uniforms. Some of the men hold baseball equipment, such as mitts and a bat. In the center of the group sits James Francis Gregory, legs crossed and slightly reclining, with a baseball cap balanced on his knee. Behind them is Johnson Chapel. Photograph is dated 1898
