Website of the Alexandria African American Hall of Fame. This website is a companion online exhibit connected with the Alexandria African American Hall of Fame exhibit at the Charles Houston Recreation Center in Alexandria, Virginia. This historic property in the Uptown/Parker-Gray Historic District of Alexandria dates back to the 18th century and is the original site of the Parker-Gray School. The exhibit (and this online exhibit) highlights the stories of significant figures in the history of the African American community in Alexandria
