Howard, RC 1977. While in high school, Howard was the news director for WTSL, a radio station in Lebanon, New Hampshire and served as an on-air news anchor for WNNE-TV in Hanover, New Hampshire.  Howard wrote for The Collegian student newspaper and served as editor during his junior year. He also interned with and worked for the Richmond Times Dispatch while he attended college. After graduating in May 1977, Howard passed away 11 October 1977 from a brain aneurysm.  His short career encompassed a significant variety of print and broadcast journalism work. The David E.
