Taylor Reveley, III (Walter Taylor Reveley, III) was the twenty-seventh president of William \u0026 Mary from 2008-2018. He served as the interim president of William \u0026 Mary after the resignation of President Gene R. Nichol on February 12, 2008, and was appointed President by the Board of Visitors on September 5, 2008. Reveley was the first interim president since Benjamin S. Ewell to be named President of William \u0026 Mary. Taylor Reveley, III (Walter Taylor Reveley, III) was the twenty-seventh president of William \u0026 Mary from 2008-2018. He served as the interim president of William \u0026 Mary after the resignation of President Gene R. Nichol on February 12, 2008, and was appointed President by the Board of Visitors on September 5, 2008. Reveley was the first interim president since Benjamin S. Ewell to be named President of William \u0026 Mary. From 1998 to 2008, Reveley served as dean of William \u0026 Mary's Marshall–Wythe School of Law and was the John Stewart Bryan Professor of Jurisprudence at the Law School.","Reveley received his A.B. in politics from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1965.
