Lee (1807-1870) spent the night of 4 September in Leesburg at the home of a distant relative, Henry Tazewell Harrison (1796-1881). While there, Lee and some of his generals met at the Harrison house to discuss the Maryland campaign.","Henry Tazewell Harrison (1796-1881) was a wealthy merchant, farmer, and banker in Leesburg.  His family descended from Burr Harrison, who in 1699 had participated in the first European contact with local Piscataway Indians in what would become Loudoun County.
