Jackson, Jr. (1888-1972) was the son of William E. Jackson, Sr. (1857-1922) and Nannie Cox (1865-1953). He owned the Jackson Poster Advertising Systems, which posted billboards in the Charlottesville area.\n","Jackson was active in civic work in Charlottesville. He founded the Crispus Attucks Post 62 of the American Legion, and during WWII was a coordinator for civilian defense for the city.
